Knestrick Restoration

This house was flooded in the Nashville flood in 2010 and sat abandoned until 2021. The clients wanted the inside and outside to be completely redone after their purchase. This project was sanded down by hand and stained with Perma-chink's Log & Timber Defense on the outside. It was then chinked with tan chinking from Perma-chink as well. The cedar shake was stained to match the color chosen for the rest of the house.

The interior was cleaned to remove stains from the flood. It was also primed, stained, cleared, and chinked with more products from Perma-chink.

The deck was an addition on the house and the ceiling was stained to match the existing ceiling on the home.

This project took several months to complete but was worth the time and effort. The restoration has brought this cabin back to life and will be a wonderful retirement retreat on the river for the clients.
